MULTI GENERATIONAL CAMPING

Each week we have a staff meeting, Wednesday morning. It normally starts with a devotional time and a time of prayer.  After that, each department shares whatever might be important for everyone to know in the coming week(s) or weekend so we are all on the same page and can prepare properly.  When it comes around to our registrar, Sandy, she will give us updated numbers for retreats and summer camp.  Mother & Daughter Weekends are coming up, starting next weekend with both over 300 for each retreat, that's awesome.  Then it comes to summer camp, regular numbers are up by a few hundred (which is incredible), and family camps are filling like crazy!  One of the reasons for that is because of many multi generational families coming together.  It's fun to see, especially in a world that can be so busy that quality family time can sometimes take a back seat.  It looks like we will be adding another family weekend for summer 2019 as they just keep growing.  We try hard not to turn campers away if possible because of being too full.  It's a constant puzzle for Sandy to figure out, how to fit people in the best we can.  What a praise...  to have so many people that we have to find more room.  And obviously most importantly, we get to share the Gospel with all these kids and families that come.  We are excited to see so many of you here in the summer.  Please remember to lift this place up in prayer.  Have a great day, it will feel like spring soon!
