ONE THING REMAINS

If you don't know, Camp Shamineau started at it's current location in 1958.  So if you do the math, our 60th anniversary is coming up this summer.  We will be having a staff reunion and celebration July 7-8.  If you haven't signed up and want to, head here- https://shamineau.org/60th/  

Many things have changed over the years.  When I first got here we used to run one age at a time for each camp.  Now we run up to five or six different camps at a time including island and horse camps.  There's always so much to do with the High Ropes Course, the blob and everything... I am happy to say that one thing remains the same.  The reason we exist, to clear a way to the cross.  Through the speakers, music, staff and even the activities, it is always apparent, and it's been a true honor to be part of that for the last 20 years.  Summer is coming soon and with this blog, I am excited to share the stories of how God uses this place, so stay tuned!
