CUEVA CUEVE!

That would be your Program Director Jeff Cueva and Assistant Program Director Lisa Anderson doing what it takes to get summer staff excited to come.  Now they are here and excited for summer, soaking up great training!  

If you aren't familiar with what happens at our staff training, let me fill you in a bit.  First of all there are a couple main things going on.  One is pretty obvious... to train our future leaders and prepare them for their summer of service.  That includes a bunch of seminars and experiences all packed into a week.  Another biggie is building a team.  These young people need to trust each other and lift each other up with encouragement and prayer.  It is a busy summer and they need divine strength (wink, wink, that's where you come in too).  Then we also give them experiences that will build memories, and teach them to then create experiences for their campers.  

I am honored to be part of a great tradition here at camp, which is a fantastic staff.  That is something we see on evaluations all the time and challenge every staff member with.  To go above and beyond, develop real relationships with our guests and campers, so that we can share the Gospel and disciple them.  That's why we exist!  For real please keep us in prayer, seems like most of my posts end with that request, but it's that important.  So here we go!  See you here soon!
